Gameday dress scores a win

Yes, this post has been a while coming. As it turns out, September busier than August and where do all the hours in the day go? I'd say they fly away with any leftover energy they can find! Anyway, the Gator dress was a success, my co-worker was happy and we are moving on to the Seminole dress next. This was an adaptation of the Simplicity 2212 Project Runway dress. No gores, no flare in the skirt, no wrap around belt. The full bust alterations and tiny back threw everything out of whack, the challenges matching the six upper seams to the bottom six are hidden underneath the cumberbund which in the end worked out to be a blessing. The cumberbund was sewn into the bodice. Hope the 'tagged' photos below post well, look towards the dress on the right, the one with the flounces.
